Do you have children? Regardless of what anyone has told you, the teenage years are certainly the most challenging. Sure, it can be a lot of work taking care of a baby, and it can get old changing diapers and mixing formula. However, those stains on the carpet and fussy outbursts during the night, pale in comparison to the stress involved with teenagers. This is that time in their lives where they think they know everything and they strive to rebel. It’s rather annoying to say the least. From drinking, to sex, to drugs, the issues are non-stop. Furthermore, these days parents are dealing with more concerns than our parents even had to. Take the concept of a credit card for teens. This sounds utterly ridiculous to me, but there are plenty of teenagers who have them. Does this make any sense whatsoever? Why in the world does a teenager need a charge card?

Almost everyone has their own finance challenges. As pressure rises from either society or self ego, somehow people want to grab a lot of things. They can be either tangible or intangible factors. The tangible elements can be materials like luxury cars, latest technology stuff, big houses and etc. As for the intangible elements can be status or self esteem stuff.
There is nothing wrong if we go after those things in our life. After all, we should live abundantly. However, if we do not have the awareness of ourselves, we might be easily driven from the truth and lead us into some sort of deception. This alone can cause our financial health down to the drain. The result of that normally is getting into debt. Spending our future money is easy. At the time of using our credit cards, we might be firm that we will pay when we receive our paycheck. But somehow, when the times come, we have other commitment to fulfill and thus we change our mind. Since minimum payment is allowed, we pay the minimum. Or even if we pay higher that the minimum, we have the tendency to use it more next time. This is what we call Time After Time. Debt After Debt.
There is a saying that if blood is bleeding now. There are two things we can do about it. The first one is we stop the wound from further bleeding. The other one is do nothing and let the blood keep bleeding. Conciously, we know what should be done. Either we change our mindset to prevent further bleeding or do something to stop it.
If we are one of the victims, what is your decision now? Please share your views.

Nowadays, having credit cards become a popular medium for purchasing goods and services. Somehow or rather, thanks to all sorts of financial advertising campaign, people tend to look for easy cash instead of studying own fundamental needs. With credit cards, people tends to buy things even more impulsively.
I, myself have several cards at once. Initially, due to lack of cash flow management skills or rather wisdom, I became a slave to financial institutions. In short, instead of managing my finance, I let credit card debt become my MASTER.
However, I am not complaining the advertising people for running credit card promotion campaign. In fact, they have done a great job for financial institutions.
All I have to stress here is that we as a human being have choices to make. In my case, I choose to spend future money. I choose to buy things impulsively. I choose to …..you name it…
So, what shall I do in order to rectify it? What will be your opinion?
Shall come back soon.

Don’t cry over spilled milk! Have you ever heard this before? In all honesty, I haven’t. Apparently it was before my time. I assumed it was something parents were saying to their kids back in the 50s. However, I totally grasp the point. A mess was made, so now clean it up. Don’t whine or cry about it; just fix it. This is a great metaphor for credit card and loan debt. Sure, you may have a load of debt on your hands, but instead of fussing over it, just fix it. This is done with the assistance of credit consolidators. Let a pro help you get back on the right track to a normal and manageable life. Doesn’t that make complete and total sense? It certainly does to me. That’s why I consolidated.

Ever thought of how to pay off your home loan faster? Here is a case study from a home owner.
“My husband and I bought our lake home five years ago. At the time we purchased it the interest rates were about eight percent and so we took out a thirty year loan. Shortly after we moved in the interest rates dropped to less than five percent on fifteen year mortgages. We decided to refinance so that we could get the house paid off by time we retired. When we went through the refinancing process our loan officer suggested that we consider a bi weekly mortgage payment. He told us that this would allow us to pay off the fifteen year mortgage in about twelve years. My husband was skeptical so we decided that we would research this before committing to this type of payment plan. The loan officer explained that our mortgage would be sold to a mortgage company anyway so we could ask for details once we knew which company would be taking over our mortgage.
